Library Cards

How to Apply

Any resident of Deptford Township is eligible for a Deptford Free Public Library card.

In order to register, the patron must supply one form of photo ID and one proof of address.  A valid New Jersey driver’s license will satisfy both of these requirements.

In addition to identification, the library will require the contact information of a friend, neighbor, or relative (who does not share your address or telephone), to serve as an emergency contact.

Juveniles under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian, who must provide the above identification and signature for a library card.

Patron Renewal

Library cards must be renewed every two years for the library to maintain accurate records.

Replacement Card

A $3.00 replacement fee will be required for lost, stolen or damaged library cards.
